It has been brought up that due to the heavy turnover and long contracts that allows teams to keep players for a long time, that restarting the league and changing the contract structure should be considered an option. This would basically be pulling the plug on 3 years of hard work from the LMs and owners alike and we start the league from scratch. There have been owners on both sides of this debate and all I ask is that you keep it civil in the comments. This poll is mainly to gauge where the league stands since not a lot of people contributed to the rule change discussion. This doesn't mean we are restarting the league, we will evaluate after the poll closes.

Restarting the league shouldn't an option, not a sign of a heathy league when you put even the existence of it in doubt. Plus somewhat confusing then why you got new owners and redrafted Cincinnati and San Francisco if you are posting a poll like this.

Like the email said, it was brought up by a few owners that restarting the league and changing the contract structure was a concern of theirs. I didnt want to just ignore one request and I value everyone's opinion. I said that a lot of hard work has been put into the league by myself and Adam and restarting would be a disappointment but I still felt like the poll needed to be made to address the concerns of a few owners. Not fair to have a poll for every other concern but not this one.
One of the main reasons this was brought up is that some felt that it wasn't the sign of a healthy league to replace 1/3 of the owners on a year-to-year basis. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just giving everyone the opportunity to voice their opinions.

Lol, don't need to post a poll for every idea esp with there was a lot of sentiment that was against a restart. More than for, at least on proboards. Just opening up old wounds

I wouldn't join a league run by commissioners that restart it after two years just because a couple people want to and 2/3 of the league was back right away and the league is almost full. That's an unhealthy league because there is no long term trust in my opinion

When you replace 40% of the league...it has to be an option...I am ok with either way

Just opening up old wounds Actually there was only one person who said they were for it and one person who said they were against it on the proboards thread. I dont see a lot of sentiment and I dont think I'm opening up old wounds. Just giving everyone a chance to voice their opinions and for all you know, maybe a lot of people do want a full restart. I guess we will see Friday when the results pop up.

Btw you gave everyone a chance to "voice" their opinion already and as you said yourself only one person was in favor of it.
Like I said before votes on rule changes are great but there should never be a vote on a restart unless the league is in severe crisis and this league was never in that. It was mainly brought up because of personal preference

I don't see the need to restart. I wouldn't be upset, but by not restarting, it will make my rise to greatness even sweeter.
